Health 2.0: Boston Chapter
Health 2.0: Boston Chapter
Welcome to the Health 2.0 Boston Chapter!
Message from the Chapter Chair, Helen Figge
Healthcare is changing and is in need of fresh ideas and critical thinking around the current health IT industry trends. The industry is looking for novel insights, mentors, and voices with outside opinions to further empower the healthcare community. We are looking to solve the critical healthcare issues facing us all today as consumers of the healthcare we support in our daily careers. As Chair of the Boston Chapter, we are looking for your insights and support to serve the Chapter and its members. The Health 2.0 Chapter is a great platform to share ideas, concepts and collegiate interchange. Additionally, the technologies employed to support healthcare further enable best practices. It is my hope as Chair that we also mentor those currently in the healthcare technology space and those not currently practicing in it, to further infuse and advance new ideas and concepts that can make the delivery of healthcare better than ever.
My passion is to also continue to raise awareness of women’s opportunities in the healthcare industry, helping women realize that great career paths are available in the industry today. I am proud to have colleagues on the Health 2.0 Boston team who feel the same way. It is our collective hope that through our efforts to serve the Health 2.0 Boston Chapter, we can all raise awareness about the healthcare environment and make a difference in the lives touched by the technologies and solutions on the market today.
To volunteer with the Boston Chapter, please contact our Co–Chair, Naila. Also visit our Events page for details on upcoming events, and review past notable speakers such as Dr. Joe Kvedar, Cara Babachicos, Sue Schade and many more.
Looking forward to meeting you and making a difference in the lives we touch.
Chair, Health 2.0 Boston
The Boston Chapter of Health 2.0 is a part of the national Health 2.0 organization, which is the premiere showcase and catalyst for the advancement of new health technologies. Through a global series of conferences, developer competitions, and leading market intelligence, Health 2.0 drives the innovation and collaboration necessary to transform health and health care.
Health 2.0 has introduced over 500 technology companies to the world stage, hosted more than 15,000 attendees at our conferences and code-a-thons, awarded over $8,734,000 in prizes through our developer challenge program, and inspired the formation of over 110 new chapters in cities on six continents.
Boston Health 2.0 promotes, showcases and catalyzes new technologies in healthcare. We do this by bringing seminars, panels, code-a-thons, small conferences, prize challenges and more to the city of Boston, focusing on healthcare IT.
